JIKS Welcomes the New Semester with a Meaningful Semester 2 Opening Ceremony

On September 1, Jakarta Intercultural School (JIKS) held its Semester 2 Opening Ceremony at Narae Hall, marking the beginning of a new semester for the JIKS community. After a long break, students returned to school with excitement and anticipation as they reunited with their friends and teachers and took their first steps into the new semester.

The ceremony also included a warm welcome for the new students joining the JIKS family this term. Principal Lee Moon-sung shared words of encouragement, inspiring students to begin the new semester with fresh goals and enthusiasm and to move forward toward their individual aspirations. Following the ceremony, students returned to their classrooms and embraced the first day of the new semester in a lively atmosphere. They shared stories and memories from their vacation while reconnecting with friends and teachers after the long break.

Having returned to school with new experiences and growth from their time away, students are set to take part in a variety of classes and school events throughout Semester 2. JIKS looks forward to supporting its students as they pursue new goals, embrace new experiences, and make the most of another meaningful semester together.
